FAQ's

Q: I don't have any celeb examples, are PB okay?
Q: I don't have any examples for the celeb I am applying for.
A: PB examples are fine, as are examples from a different celeb! As long as you have both first person (journal) examples and third person (aim/scene) examples.

Q: Am I allowed to play my celeb unmarried?
A: Yes, as long as you do it as realistically as possible.

Q: Is there a character limit?
A: There is no character limit. We just ask that members don't overextend themselves and are able to keep all their characters active.

Q: Is it okay to bring in [spouse/significant other of so-and-so] if they are not famous?
A: We're very sorry, but unfortunately we do not accept non-celebs into the game. All members of the community must be famous in their own right, and not for their attachments.

Q: I was thinking of bringing in another character. Would I have to show examples or just tell you I'm a current member in my application?
A: Put your current member journal where it asks for examples, however this does not guarantee acceptance! We may ask for further examples, or reject you if we feel you are not keeping your current character(s) active enough to bring in another.

Q: I was removed from the community but I updated on time, can you please tell me why? Can I reapply?
A: During our activity checks/removals, we also remove those with very outdated friends lists. We're happy to add you back with the next set of adds, we just ask that you please make use of the console.

Q:What is your overriding policy?
A:There are several reasons someone can be up for override.
-If they haven't intro'd within a week of being added.
-If they haven't updated in six weeks or more.
-If they haven't kept their friends list up to date.
-If a new member applies without a first post, and they have not updated within the two week mark.

Q: Why was I removed? Can I reapply?
A: Every other weekend we do activity removals along with the adds/member updates. If you were removed, you were either over your six week update limit, (or if you were a new member that applied without a first post, your two week update had not been posted), or, you hadn't kept your friend's list current! If you've not used the console for four or more sets of adds, you are extremely out of date. Yes, you may reapply! :) Simply put "reapplying" where it asks for examples. If you were removed for not updating, please have an update posted in your journal before adds.

I've been in your game more than once and I've always had a blast. I know that lately you mods have had some trouble with people causing drama or being super negative, but I thought you should know that you run a great game. I'm not here anymore, but I can't think of any other game I've been in that's made me so happy. Thank you for your hard work!

Thank you, it's really nice to get this comment. We try to keep things as smooth and drama-free as possible but it's impossible to make 250 people happy. It's really nice to hear that someone appreciated what we do or attempt to do.

Thank you, it's appreciated. We're trying to make it a little cleaner and easier to navigate, it's nice that someone noticed. :)

i've been in this game several times before and even though i'm not in it anymore, i really haven't found a game where i've otherwise felt entirely comfortable with my characters. i just wanted to drop you guys a line to thank you for putting up with my characters in the past and who knows, maybe the present. you really are running a great game here.

I'm going to make this anonymous, just because it doesn't matter who I am.

I wanted to thank the community for making me feel welcome. I've only been here a few days, but everyone I've interacted with has been very friendly. I'm really glad that I chose [info]priceline over other celeb games. I think I picked a good one.

So, thank you.

How do hiatus's work? As far as I know it's a state of non activity. Yet I see a few people 'on hiatus' lurking about the friends page.

We don't currently have any official rules about hiatus, though generally if someone requests one we assume they cannot or will not be around to interact with other characters. If someone is logging in to keep their friend's list up to date, or to converse OOC with their storyline partner, we're fine with that. However IC interaction is usually frowned upon. If someone is using a hiatus simply to avoid updating, that's not allowed.

I hope that answers your questions.

I'm aware of the member you're speaking of, but unaware that it had gotten that out of control. Would you mind PM'ing me? You can use an OOC journal if you wish to remain anonymous.

Question: Does filling out the Sunday Six questions count as an update?

Yes, as long as there's a little thought behind the replies and not one-word answers. :)

Considering the circumstances, well grant that extension. If it's possible for you to update before then, please do so. Drop us a comment when her update is posted, and good luck!

Your fiends list is way out of date. Anyone that does not use the console for 4 or more sets of adds can be up for override, or will be removed when we do our activity checks. Please be sure to use it regularly when you are added back with the next set of updates.

hi i have a suggestion why not just get rid of secrets all together
secrets are supposed to be a secret and with the anon option taken away from us there will be at least one person who knows everyone elses business i don't know about anyone else but that doesnt groove with me
granted there was something this round that triggered this something i guess i didnt see and yet i didnt see anything inappropriate or just there to cause drama by doing this you are just taking away peoples freedom and ease to vent and that same ease and freedom to someone who wants to anonymously spread some joy to people
just a little food for thought

There would be a lot more complaints about no secrets at all, than the few that might complain about the anon being temporarily disabled. It is temporary, and if anyone doesn't feel comfortable posting with their journal, they certainly don't have to. I think you'd be surprised how many people actually do post with their journal though, even with anon enabled. Sadly it's usually the ones that try to purposely stir up drama that post anon. You have to realize not all secrets get posted, so just because you didn't see anything to "trigger" this action that doesn't mean they weren't received. We do realize there will be a lot of people unhappy about this right now, but pl_anon asked our permission before doing so. Hopefully we can come up with a better solution than disabling anon or being rid of the secrets all together.

Thank you for your comment and expressing your opinion maturely.
